Our Educational Packages
Looking to give your class a hands-on lesson about animals, the environment, geography, and biology? Hobbledown's the place!
There are a variety of options available for schools, tailored to early years learning, as well as Key Stages 1, 2 and 3 of the National Schools Curriculum.
Plus, our school packages are a great deal. While regular day tickets can cost up to £20, our school packages start from only £11 per child - and attending adults go free! Not to mention, that price includes your choice of classroom session, guided tour, or animal meet & greet...
School Packages are only available during school term times
Please note: There are no guaranteed animals for these sessions, and we cannot take requests. We will always match the animals used based on the age of the children and the topics being covered.

The Hobbler Guided Tour
A guided tour through some of our animal areas with a qualified animal keeper discussing habitats, adaptations, identification and features.
Suitable for: Early years, Key Stage 1, Key Stage 2

An up-close meet & greet...
Interactive Animal Experience
Take part in an interactive meet and greet with a farm animal with a qualified animal keeper discussing habitats, adaptations, identification and features.
Suitable for: Early years, Key Stage 1, Key Stage 2
Duration: 20 minutes
Students: up to 30 – which will then be further split into groups for the session.
Animals: Will vary depending on age group and school learning.

For those who like to learn on the go!
Animals in Motion
Explore the park along with one of our expert animal team members, and let them teach you how animals move.
Suitable for: Early years, Key Stage 1, Key Stage 2
Duration: 45-60 minutes
Students: up to 30 – which will then be further split into groups for the session.
Animals: Mixed. Students will study a range of the animals that are residents of Hobbledown Heath.
Price: £12 per child, accompanying adults are free
Meet the mighty beasts of Hobbledown Heath
Shaggy Beasts
Led by one of our expert animal team members, learners will meet face-to-face with some of our "shaggier" animal residents and explore how animals adapt to their climate.
Suitable for: Early years, Key Stage 1, Key Stage 2
Duration: 45-60 minutes
Students: up to 30 – which will then be further split into groups for the session.
Animals: Highland Cattle and Yak
