A) If you book your party online the maximum number is 20, however we can accommodate up to 40 per party (excluding High Ropes Parties which are max 20). If you have more than 40 children, please call us to see what we can do for you. The minimum number is 10.
A) Parties start from £14.90 per child on weekdays, £17.90 per child on weekends and £18.90 for our Hobtastic High Ropes Parties. There is a minimum number of 1o children. Party prices include one FREE adult per every two children, if the birthday child is turning 6 or over, and one FREE adult per every child if the birthday child is turning 5 or under. Additional adults can come in for half price.
A) Yes, we have invites for you to send out to all your lucky friends!
A) We know you will be excited, so you can arrive at any time after we open (not before breakfast please as we shall still be asleep!). However, we do ask you to set an arrival time when you make your booking, which will help us plan our day ahead, making sure your VERY IMPORTANT DAY is totally stress free!
A) Fern, our resident fairy, always says, ‘a party without good food is like a cake without candles’, so we have done our best to create a party menu that is fun but also nutritious. You can download our current party menu here. LINK
A) You are responsible for the children within your party at all times. One of our team will be with you during the party feast making sure everyone is OK by pouring drinks, handing out food and performing the birthday cake ceremony.
A) Merrydown parties eat in the “Hobblings” which is in the indoor play barn. Hobbledown and High Ropes parties take place in one of the four themed Hobbledown party rooms.
A) You can stay all day up until we close. All grown ups (especially Professors) that can prove they have stayed all day long (and without grumbling) will get a medal.
A) At your time of booking you can order adult platters and snack boxes. These will be served at the same time as the children’s party feast keeping everyone well fed.
A) Of course you can. We have seen some amazing cakes brought in and if it’s really good, then we will enter it into our birthday cake Hall of Fame. You won’t be able to eat your cake in our party rooms, however we’d love you to blow out your candles here and we’re only too happy to pop cakes in party bags as a great memory of the day.
A) We have plenty of candles, more than any birthday would need, in our shop. If you would like to bring your own candles we’d be happy to pop them on your cake for you. We can’t have sparklers on cakes anywhere on the site as they can set off our fire alarms!
A) This isn’t an issue but we just ask that you inform us before the day of your party and let us know how many children require vegetarian Hobblenosh.
A) Sadly, we cannot supply food but, in this particular instance, we would suggest that you bring your own food for children who are vegans or those with nut allergies.
A) We can provide your party with a locker where you can store all your belongings and wonderful presents, and furthermore, only you will have the special key for it!
