Looking for the very best family-friendly festivals this summer? Well, add Wildflowers to that list as our 3-day festival of sound and colour returns bigger and better than ever! 

Wildflowers takes place at Hobbledown on August 16th, 17th and 18th 2019 and is the ultimate feel-good family festival. 

Featuring live music, interactive theatre, music and dance workshops, walkabouts and circus entertainment, there will be a jam-packed line-up of alfresco fun throughout the 3 days. 

There will also be craft stalls, street food stalls, 2 bars, and of course our famous paint throwing finale.

The Line Up  

Music 

The Gents – Feast your ears and eyes on the cheeky nonsense that is the Cockney Gents. Sing along to your favourite pop tunes in the cockney style with your very own Gents Kazoo. 

Beato Burrito – Trio of acoustic musicians who will be wandering around Hobbledown performing an eclectic mix of pop songs in a Mariachi style. 

The Cash Cows – Energetic and infectious act reworks our favourite tunes from across the last century in a quirky style that keeps us guessing. It’s upbeat, happy, dancing music in a skiffle, rockabilly, jazz style. 

Top Bananas Stilt Band – A band on stilts wandering round Hobbledown … what can possibly go wrong?! 

Theatre and Circus 

Dress Circle –  A unique street theatre act that has got to be seen to be believed, with plenty of audience participation. 

Acro-Afrique – An award-winning acrobatic troupe from Ghana, West Africa.  

Mujishan’s Circus of Bubbles – Workshops and bubble displays with our famous bubble bike 

Bruce Airhead – One brave man, one enormous balloon, one amazing show! 

Greg Chapman – Juggler, escape artist and all round entertainer 

Punch and Judy – The classic show that’s still a family favourite 

Workshops 

London African Drumming – 3 daily workshops for beginners introducing them to joys of African drumming and dance. You will be surprised how good you all sound! 

Bollywood Dance –  Learn to dance Bollywood style

Fizz Pop Science – Fun and interactive science complete with explosions!

Hobbledown Characters and Walkabouts  – The Hedge Men, The Flower Men, Old Man Tom 

The Raptor Centre – 3 birds of prey flying displays every day 

Face Painting/Hair Braiding – extra charge applies 

Hobbledown’s famous paint throwing  extravaganza – 4.30pm daily 

Plus guests receive all day entry to our award winning adventure park and zoo – you can’t get better than that!
