Merrydown is back this 2017 and promises to be bigger and muckier than ever!

The 3 day festival of mucky may-hem takes place on May 30th, 31st and June 1st 2017 and is the showpiece of Hobbledown’s calendar.

Attractions will include a Slip ‘n Slide ride, Quad Bungee, Glime Pass tournament, Maze Runner match, eating competitions, various challenges and glime galore!

For the younger children there will also be Mucky Play and our Creation Station.

Expect a riot of fun and laughter and be prepared to get sticky, glimey and wet!

What you need to know:

  • A limited number of tickets will be available online in advance, but you can simply turn up on your chosen day and pay at our ticket booth. Simple! In fact if you come by bus and show us your ticket we will even give you £1 off admission.
  • All the activities are designed to be fun and messy, so don’t wear your best clothes [in fact you might want a spare change of clothes] and we recommend you bring a towel.
  • May 30th/31st and June 1st 2017 are blackout dates for Hobbledown Annual Passholders. But for just £2.50 passholders can upgrade and enjoy all of these fantastic events.
  • Activities will take place around our Field of Confusion but your ticket includes general admission to Hobbledown all day.
  • Ticket prices for Merrydown: Hobblings (age 2+) £17.00; Scholars (age 18+) £16.00; Professors (adults 65+) £10.50; Special Hobblings and Scholars (registered disabled, includes 1 carer free) £10.50.
