There’s only one place to be this October Half Term and it involves bug brunches, dragons, potions and explosions.
Our daily Hobble’ween line-up runs from Saturday 22nd October to Monday 31st October 2022.
Here’s what’s on:
Potion Commotion
Tipp the Inventor’s on a mission to make a potion to be brave and he wants your help.
Although be warned that things never go quite to plan when Tipp’s around!
Inside The Glimery
We’re transforming The Thinkery into The Glimery this Hobble'ween where there’ll be entertainment courtesy of the Hobbledown characters.
Their 15 minute story features The Skibblers up to their old tricks (oh no they’re not, oh yes they are!)
Bug Brunch
You won’t go hungry at Hobbledown this Hobble’ween, that’s if you like dried bugs!
Are you brave enough to try our Bug Brunch Challenge?
Yummy delicacies on offer include mealworms, locusts, crickets, buffalo worms and for pudding jelly filled with bugs!
Wicked Willow Maze
Rumpletump’s lost his magical golden egg. But who could have taken it? The Hobblers need your detective skills to find out.
Beware - you might meet a dragon on the way!
£5 per child fee applies. Includes goody bag.

Monster’s Ball
Come dressed in your best Hallowe’en costumes for our Monster’s Ball Parade.
There’ll be a daily fancy dress competition on the Courtyard Lawn where you can compete to be the belle, or beast, of the ball!
Creepy Crawlies Zoomed In
Educational talks with our zoo team at 12.30pm and 4pm explaining why reptiles and insects are important, why they're not scary and giving advice for things to look out for.
Meet a selection of these: Poison dart frogs, Mexican red knee tarantula, giant African land snails, red legged millipedes, Madagascan hissing cockroaches, whites tree frogs, sun beetles, rainbow stag beetles and Mcclaeys Spectre stick insects.
That’s on top of all of our award winning play equipment including The Imaginarium, spooky underground tunnels, jumping pillows, role play castles and more.
High Ropes are available to purchase as an add-on.
Plus if the weather’s not great we have a huge indoor playbarn too!
