Feed the Reindeer
(Suitable for ages 5+)
You don’t have to wait until the holidays - Santa’s reindeer are at Hobbledown Heath all year round! Join our experienced animal team for a hands-on feeding experience with these visitors from the North.
What you need to know:
- Feeding the Reindeer is suitable for even the youngest of hobblers, at age 5+!
- The experience lasts 15 - 30 minutes
- Participants will be given some browse, cos lettuce, or other type of feed, and then an animal team member will take you to the feeding platform and teach you how to feed the reindeer safely
- Meet the keepers! Q&A with the reindeer caretakers will be available throughout the session, along with plenty of educational facts
- Bring your camera! There will be plenty of great photo opportunities...
Prices from only £18 per person!
This is an add-on experience, only available for Hobbledown Heath guests; you must hold a general admission ticket to the park to take part.

- Participants will be provided Nitrile gloves and will be required to wash their hands following the experience
- This experience is suitable for young children as guests are not directly exposed to antlers or hooves
- This experience is part of Hobbledown Heath’s FACE to FACE Ambassador Animal Programme
- Whilst every effort is made to accommodate everyone, due to the nature of the experience it is unfortunately not suitable for pregnant guests, visitors with disabilities or learning difficulties, or those who are suffering from an immune suppressant illness.
