Become a Zookeeper for the day at Hobbledown!

ZOOKEEPER
EXPERIENCE

Suitable for ages 10+

Duration: 10am - 1pm

Availability: Friday, Saturday, Sunday & Monday

Itinerary:

'All Muck in' - help muck out one of our pony barns to give them a nice cozy bed and lots of fresh hay
Prepare lunch for the meerkats and otters, and learn about their different dietary requirements
Meet some of our exotic animals*
Meet and feed the otters during the keeper talk
Meet and feed the meerkats, lemurs OR our small furries
Meet our Capybara or our Von Der Deckens' Hornbill
VIP zoo tour: meet some our other animals, learn about how we care for them, help with feeding.
Meet some of our reptiles and learn how we care for them.

*Animals may vary depending on age of participant, and welfare of the animals.

*All items subject to change dependent on the welfare of the animals

Duration: 2pm - 4pm

Availability: Friday, Saturday, Sunday & Monday

Itinerary:

Feed, clean and bathe our giant tortoises
Meet our cheeky armadillo
Feed the otters and meerkats
Make a fun treat for our lemurs, and watch them play with it...
Pony grooming
Zoo tour – get to know our other animals around the park, learn how we care for them, help with feeding
Meet some of our reptiles and learn how we care for them

*General admission is included

Prices for all zookeeper experiences automatically include admission onto the park, for both the participant and one accompanying adult
Each experience can accommodate a maximum of 2 people.
Participants should be physically fit due to the nature and demands of the work.
Please bring wellies if you are joining us for a Zookeeper experience!
