Yes - if you need to go back to the car during our visit, simply ask at reception. You will be given a hand stamp or wristband to enable re-entry within your timeslot allocation.

Grown-ups are never too old to play but we do consider our main age group for children to be 2 to 13 years old. Our play areas are all exciting and challenging and children are to be supervised at all times.

Yes. We have our own car park which is free to park. Vehicles are left at your own risk.

There are hard standing footpaths to most areas of Hobbledown; however, a lot of the play areas are, due to their natural composition, inaccessible and not wheelchair-friendly. For more detail please see the our Hobbledown Accessibility Statement.

Yes of course! We have a cycle park where you can leave your bikes, just opposite the entrance building. (Don’t forget to bring a lock!)

Hobbledown is all about adventurous play, both indoors and out, so please wear long sleeve tops and trousers that you don’t mind getting a little scruffy or a little wet. Being a zoo, we do get wet and muddy when it rains so a pair of wellies and a spare set of clothes is always a good idea.

Accidents are rare but we do need to be prepared so we have trained first aiders onsite for accidents. We also have a dedicated first aid room in our play barn.

Hobbledown looks quite wonderful and mysterical in the rain but if you (or older Hobblers!) do want to keep dry then we have a large (14,000sq/ft) indoor play barn should the heavens decide to open. Slots are restricted to a 45 minute session pre booked upon entry to Hobbledown.

Yes, sadly so. Certain facilities cannot operate in certain weather conditions. This includes (but is not exhaustive of) the Jumping Pillows in extreme heat or rain. And the High Ropes Course and Fern's Castle / Hobbledown Village in thunder and lightening due to their metal elements. Great British Weather - don't you just love it!

Tickets are only valid for the date they were issued.

The Hobblers are always happy to hear from you so please email: epsominfo@hobbledown.com or write to us at Hobbledown, Horton Lane, Horton, KT19 8PT.

Sorry, this isn't possible. All children under the age of 18 must be supervised at all times.

We have the fantastic HOBNOSH restaurant in the main barn. The CABIN by the pond also sells a smaller selection of hot and cold drinks, ice creams and tasty snacks. You can download the HOBNOSH menu here.

As Hobbledown has a zoo on site, this is not possible. The only exception to this is assistance dogs, although some areas are still excluded such as our walkthroughs, the Raptor Centre and petting zones.

We ask for assistance dogs to be leashed in order to prevent potential nose to nose contact with some of our animals or undue stress to their welfare and well-being.

Additionally, as we do daily walks with some of our animals, this is for the safety of the assistance dog, the handler, the zoo animals and the team.

If it is not possible to leash your assistance dog, please alert one of our team upon arrival so that we can better assist you during your visit experience.

Also, please be warned that the car park is very open and provides very little shade. Dogs die in hot cars, so please keep your pets safe by leaving them at home.

We are big supporters of the emergency services! Any holders of a valid Blue Light Card should log on to their account to see the latest offers.

We do have a few restrictions which are all for the safety of the children, please have a look at the list below:

  1. Height – minimum height of child is 1.30 metres.
  2. Ability - Participants must be able to physically complete the course unaided.
  3. Footwear – Suitable eg: no flip flops or sandals.
  4. Hair – Long hair will need to be tied back with a hair tie.
  5. Weather – In the event of thunder or lightening the high ropes will need to be temporarily closed until it passes and the high ropes have been reassessed for safety.
  6. Opening times – The High Ropes Course is only open (weather permitting) at certain times during our peak opening times, it must be booked on the day through www.hobbledown.app.

No. Hobbledown is a completely smoke-free zone. The animals don’t like it, and neither do the children.

Yes! For fully paid day guests, if extreme weather affects more than an hour of your visit and you have booked online, we will issue you a 50% discount voucher by email that is valid for a return visit within the stated timeframe. Party guests are not eligible for this.

Disabled visitors pay the full entry rates and are required to purchase a general admission ticket. Those applicable are eligible to bring a free carer over the age of 18 years. Evidence of DLA/PIP payments or a valid Blue Badge dated within the last 12 months must be provided at the entrance to our team to qualify for the free carer.

This experience may not be suitable for people with allergies due to the presences of allergens during feeding and feed preparation. If you have any allergies, then you must contact the company prior to attending your experience. We will provide you with all the information to allow you to make an informed decision whether to go ahead with the experience or not.

We are happy to discuss your requirements and make reasonable adjustments to the experience. The company reserves the right to cancel an experience for Health and Safety reasons as guest safety is our number one priority.

Whilst every effort is made to accommodate everyone, due to the nature of the experience, unfortunately, at the present time the experience is not suitable for pregnant guests, visitors with physical disabilities, or those who are suffering from an immune suppressant illness. To ensure the safety of both humans and animals, participants must be able to clearly communicate with and follow instructions from the animal keeper, this does mean that this experience may not be suitable for some visitors with learning difficulties.

Like many other firms in our industry we must contend with rising costs which include our booking transaction costs too. We cannot continue absorbing these fees and so we have taken the decision to introduce a £1.50 booking fee per transaction which will help recoup some of the fees we are charged. All guests still benefit from a discount off General Admission if booking online in advance.
