Say Hello to Spud! Our Adorable Baby Capybara Has Arrived

We’re delighted to share that our much-loved capybara, Spud, is growing beautifully and thriving at Hobbledown. Born just nine days before Christmas to first-time parents Puffin and Robin, she quickly captured hearts with her potato-like shape - earning her the affectionate nickname “Spud.”

Now a little older, Spud is confident, curious and full of character. Mum and dad continue to do a fantastic job, and our animal team are proud to see her developing so well as she becomes a firm favourite with visitors.
