Yes! Hobbledown looks quite wonderful and mysterical in the rain but if you (or older Hobblers!) do want to keep dry then we have an excellent indoor play barn should the heavens decide to open. 

For safety reasons, children under the age of 18 must be supervised by an adult while at Hobbledown Epsom. An adult can supervise up to four children during activities. It's important to ensure that children are always accompanied by an adult to maintain a safe environment.

Car parking is available on-site and is free of charge.

Hobbledown does not offer a rainy day guarantee.

Our adventure park and zoo is designed for all-weather fun, with plenty to explore indoors and out.

Hobbledown Epsom has qualified first aiders on-site to assist with any medical needs. There are first aid boxes located around the site for easy access. If you require first aid assistance during your visit, please approach a member of the team, and they will be happy to help you.

You cannot book a carer ticket online. Please book a general admission ticket online for the person who requires a carer and the carer will be admitted for free at the gate when proof of disability is produced. Evidence of DLA/PIP payments, award letter or a valid Blue Badge dated within the last 12 months must be provided at the entrance to our team to qualify for the free carer. If evidence can't be supplied then a full price ticket will need to be purchased.

We understand that things can go wrong from time to time and do our very best to resolve matters fully on the day. Please speak to a duty manager on site. If we were unable to resolve this on the day, please email us with your complaint to epsominfo@hobbledown.com FAO The Manager, within 12 weeks of your visit. Our management team will review your complaint and will be in touch within 7 days to resolve this for you. For more complex complaints, we may need a little more time to fully investigate and resolve matters for you, we will endeavour to resolve promptly and will always keep you up to date.

We ask that 1 adult is available to supervise 5 children or less.

Grown-ups are never too old to play! Hobbledown Epsom primarily caters to children aged 2 to 13 years old. The zoo, pillows, and soft play areas are suitable for younger guests, such as toddlers, while the outdoor play structures are designed to be exciting and challenging for children aged 5 to 13 years. It's important to note that children must be supervised at all times while visiting.

Yes, sadly so. Certain facilities cannot operate in certain weather conditions. This includes (but is not exhaustive of) the Jumping Pillows in extreme heat or rain. And the High Ropes Course and Fern's Castle / Hobbledown Village in thunder and lightening due to their metal elements. Great British Weather - don't you just love it!

As Hobbledown has a Zoo on site this is not possible. The only exception to this is assistance dogs, although some areas are excluded such as our walkthroughs and where animal demonstrations take place.
We ask for assistance dogs to be leashed in order to prevent potential nose to nose contact with some of our animals or undue stress to their welfare and well-being.
Additionally, as we do daily walks with some of our animals, this is for the safety of the assistance dog, the handler, the zoo animals and the team.
If it is not possible to leash your assistance dog, please alert one of our team upon arrival so that we can better assist you during your visit experience.
Please be warned that the car park is very open and provides very little shade. Dogs die in hot cars, so please keep them safe by leaving your pets at home.

We have a cycle park at the front entrance of the building. Don't forget to bring a lock! Bikes are left at your own risk.

Hobbledown Epsom is all about adventurous play, both indoors and outdoors. Here are some clothing suggestions:
Long Sleeve Tops
Trousers : Comfortable trousers are ideal for moving around.
Trainers or Full Shoes : Closed-toe shoes.

We do have a few restrictions which are all for the safety of the children, please have a look at the list below:

  1. Height – minimum height of child is 1.30 metres.
  2. Ability - Participants must be able to physically complete the course unaided. 
  3. Footwear – Suitable eg: no flip flops or sandals.
  4. Hair – Long hair will need to be tied back with a hair tie.
  5. Weather – In the event of thunder or lightening the high ropes will need to be temporarily closed until it passes and the high ropes have been reassessed for safety.
  6. Opening times – The High Ropes Course is only open (weather permitting) at certain times during our peak opening times, it must be booked on the day through www.hobbledown.app.

Car parking is available on-site and is free of charge.

At Hobbledown Epsom we do have designated disabled bays for accessibility which are located near the main entrance to Hobbledown.

Unfortunately, wheelchair hire is not available at the venue. If you require a wheelchair, it's best to bring your own. Additionally, if you have any specific accessibility needs or questions, I recommend contacting the venue prior to your visit to discuss any reasonable adjustments that can be made.

Unfortunately, there are no options to buy socks on-site at Hobbledown Epsom. If you need socks, it's best to bring your own or purchase them before your visit

It's a good idea to bring spare clothes, especially if you or your children are participating in activities that may get messy or wet. While Hobbledown Heath does not provide spare clothes, having an extra set on hand can ensure a more comfortable experience.

No, we do not have lockers for belongings at Hobbledown Epsom.

Hobbledown Epsom sits just outside the ULEZ (Ultra Low Emission Zone). If you're planning to visit, it's important to check if your vehicle meets the ULEZ standards to avoid any charges. For more information regarding the ULEZ zone, you can visit the Transport for London website at tfl.gov.uk.

No we don't have air conditioning; however the temperature is modified by a central fan system.

Hobbledown Heath offers work experience opportunities for individuals aged 17 and over. The placements must be a block placement for a minimum of 2 weeks or one day a week for a minimum of 6 months. It's important for volunteers to be able to follow clear instructions, work independently, and consider their own safety.

The green gems are called Crystallite and can be found around the park but especially in the sand play areas. The Hobblers collect Crystallite for its magical powers and will reward anyone that finds some.

We have a very large indoor play barn with seating as well as heated canopy seating areas outside of the barn. Indoor areas can be limited and bookings might be required during busy holiday periods and ONLY food purchased at Hobbledown can be consumed in the indoor play barn.

Gift vouchers can be used to pay for annual passes, general admission, parties, and certain animal experiences at Hobbledown Epsom. They are a great way to treat someone to a fun day out!

Yes we do accept the national carers card. Disabled guests at Hobbledown Epsom are required to pay the full entry rates for their tickets. However, they are eligible to bring a free carer over the age of 18. This ticket will be provided for you at the entrance once the team have checked the necessary paperwork. This could be any of the following: Evidence of DLA/PIP payments, Access Card, a National Disability Card or Carers Card, or a valid Blue Badge dated within the last 12 months.

Unfortunately, Hobbledown Epsom does not offer discounts for individuals claiming benefits such as Universal Credit or ESA, however we have afternoon saver tickets that provide discounted entry starting at 2:30 PM.

You are welcome to bring a pushchair or pram to Hobbledown Epsom. However, we recommend using one with larger wheels, as the paths are rustic and may not be suitable for pushchair or prams with smaller wheels. Please note that there is no storage available for pushchairs/prams at the venue and we do not offer rentals.

If you hold a ticket for Hobbledown Epsom, you may return to your car and re-enter the park on the same day, as long as you have your ticket with you.

Hobbledown has limited capacity each day and we keep the number of guests to a level that we can manage and we feel gives the best experience to our guests. During your visit, you will be guaranteed at least 45 minute session in the Indoor Play Barn. It's a fantastic indoor play arena with various play structures.

Our party zones can be accessed by the main entrance or via the stairs in the Indoor play barn. The party zones are split into 4 zones and can get very busy at peak times.

High ropes bookings are non-transferable and non-refundable.
Tickets for high ropes cannot be purchased as a standalone ticket. They can only be purchased as an add-on during the booking journey online OR via a QR code on the day.

The High Ropes is our awesome Aerial Adventure Course! Explore the 70-metre-long sky trail which stretches out high above Hobbledown's bouncing pillows, fairy castles and dragon swings. Navigate wobbly bridges, daring crossings and skateboards - and, to finish, take a daring leap off a 40m zipline!

The High Ropes costs £5 per session and must be pre-booked to avoid dissapointment.

The Imaginarium is an indoor adventure; part reptile house, part water play, part insectarium and part interactive jungle, the Imaginarium combines hands-on, messy play with live animals - all housed in a themed building with caves, tunnels and pools galore!

The Climbing Tower is an optional add-on experience. If available on the date of your visit, you’ll have the opportunity to add Climbing Tower tickets during your online admission ticket purchase
