What are the terms and conditions for my two free raffle tickets?

  • The two free raffle tickets will be issued automatically with every confirmed school booking made from 05.10.2024. 
  • Raffle tickets are for general admission entry only. 
  • Tickets will be included as part of the same transaction at the point of booking, ensuring all records are maintained in one place without the need for separate documentation.
  • Schools do not need to submit a separate request for tickets; they will receive them at the time of booking.
  • The free raffle tickets are non-transferable and cannot be exchanged for cash or any other items.
  • This offer is valid for school bookings made during the promotion period.
  • The Escapade group reserves the right to modify or cancel this promotion at any time without prior notice. 
  • We reserve the right to withdraw the promotion without refund for misuse of the voucher or breach of terms and conditions.
  • By participating in this promotion, schools agree to abide by these terms and conditions.

School visits are offered Monday - Friday during term time only, subject to availability. 

Our school trips are designed for visits from 10am until 2pm.

We have the Merry Makers shop within Hobbledown where there are lots of fabulous souvenirs that can be purchased. Our shop is not big, so we ask that you visit in small groups, and that all children are supervised.

Hobblers are not unreasonable people, so if there is a genuine issue we will do our very best to accommodate any changes. 

All invoices need to be paid in full 7 days before your visit. Bookings will be cancelled 7 days before where payment has not been received.
The cancellation of bookings can be honoured up to 4 weeks before the booking date with no charge.
Please note the below charges if cancellations are required closer to the booked date:
Bookings cancelled within 28 days of their booking date - 50% of the invoice amount will be payable.
Bookings cancelled between 14 & 28 days of the booking - 75% of the invoice amount will be payable.

If you have a very small school or only want to treat a very select number of pupils, then 15 is the minimum. All bookings need to be made in advance. 

500 is the biggest school group we have booked to date, so numbers are not an issue. However, we will always insist that there is a minimum 15 to qualify as a school visit, with a ratio of 1 adult for every 5 children.

We don’t think it's fair that the coach driver has to sit in his coach while everyone else gets to have fun - so each school group booking gets a free ‘coach driver admission ticket’.

We have lots of outdoor seating and picnics are encouraged for outdoor consumption only. Bins are situated around the park for ease. Only food purchased at our restaurant can be consumed in our indoor areas. Play barn areas and indoor party rooms are dedicated to Hobbledown food only and guests eating their picnics inside will be asked to move to the outdoor areas.

Please inform your children on arrival that all team members have Hobbledown T-shirts on and name badges, so that if they lose their grown up, they know who to speak to for help.  In the event of your lost child, please find the nearest member of the team and we will assist you to locate them. Team members are always present in the restaurant and play barn area should you be unable to see anyone in your immediate location.

Yes! We love coaches, but only 5 at any one time.

The Indoor Play Barn is a magical space filled with adventure, exploration, and play, perfect for children and families. To access the indoor barn as part of your school visit, speak to the team to prebook prior to the date of your visit. There is a charge per child for access. Limited availability.

We do not offer discount on membership for Home Education customers. However, our membership represents great value and comes with a number of benefits.
Members are entitled to a 15% discount for all children across all our parties and all animal experiences except Bird of Prey experiences. Members will also get discounted entry to our special events.

Hobbledown Epsom offers special Home Education Days designed for families who educate their children at home. These days provide a fantastic opportunity for hands-on, outdoor learning experiences. Participants can enjoy full access to the park's facilities, including animal enclosures and play areas, as well as special educational sessions with the animal team.
Tickets for Home Education Days are typically priced at £11 per child, and each child can bring a free accompanying adult. It's a great way to combine fun and education in a unique environment!
