Meerkats are curious and friendly, so Meet the Meerkats is ideal for even the smallest of hobblers, at age 6+!
The experience lasts 15 - 20 minutes
Includes general admission to Hobbledown Heath
A £2.00 booking fee will be added to your transaction
Please bring wellies or sturdy footwear! Participants will be taken into the meerkat enclosure, so footwear suited to muck and mud is required.
You are required to wear long trousers (no skirts or shorts) to keep you legs safe from curious little claws!
Meet the keepers! Q&A with the meerkat caretakers will be available throughout the session, along with plenty of educational facts
Bring your camera! There will be plenty of great photo opportunities...

Please note these animals are sometimes fed live food such as mealworms
Anyone entering Hobbledown must have a ticket. If you are accompanying someone doing an animal experience but are not participating, you must still hold your own general admission ticket
Whilst every effort is made to accommodate everyone, due to the nature of the experience unfortunately at the present time the experience is not suitable for pregnant guests, mothers who are nursing, or guests with immunosuppressant illnesses. This experience may not be suitable for disabilities which impact on motor skills, mobility, or severe learning difficulties. Please contact us to discuss your individual needs.
This experience may not be private to your booking; if spaces are available, other participants may join.
Free carers do not participate in the experience. Anyone wanting to participate in the experience will need their own experience ticket.
