How long is the experience?

Santa's Grotto lasts around 1 hour from start to finish. The Toddler Santa Experience lasts around 40 minutes.

Your ticket also includes full day admission to Hobbledown Heath. You are welcome to arrive any time after opening to explore the park; however please be at the Grotto area promptly for the time you selected during the booking process.

Yes, all attending adults must hold their own Adult Santa's Grotto ticket for this event.

This Christmas experience makes full use of the Hobbledown areas, there will be gravel and wood chip pathways throughout the experience and uneven surfaces present. 
It also features flashing lights and special effects during the experience.
Pushchairs: The route is suitable for pushchairs, however please bare in mind the uneven surfaces.
Accessibility: If any member of a guest’s group has accessibility requirements, they must inform us at least 48 hours before their visit by email, by knowing in advance we can ensure the best possible experience.

We understand that things can go wrong from time to time and do our very best to resolve matters fully on the day. Please speak to a duty manager on site. If we were unable to resolve this on the day, please email us with your complaint to [email protected] FAO The Manager, within 12 weeks of your visit. Our management team will review your complaint and will be in touch within 7 days to resolve this for you.
For more complex complaints, we may need a little more time to fully investigate and resolve matters for you, we will endeavour to resolve promptly and will always keep you up to date.

This event is hosted within Hobbledown Heath, therefore our usual facilites are available which include five disabled toilet facilities. These are located at the following locations:
Before you enter reception
Beside Hobnosh restaurant
Upstairs in the Great Barn
Next to the Hobnosh Snack Shack
At Gripped
All of these toilets are designed to be accessible for wheelchair users and their carers, and no key is required to unlock any of the doors.Baby changing facilities are available in all the toilets located in the Great Barn. These facilities are designed to accommodate parents with young children.

All our tickets are non-refundable, but the date of your visit can be changed so long as your original visit date has not yet passed. To change your visit date, Create an account on our website, using the email address you purchased the original ticket with, log into your account on our website to make any changes. Please note that any booking changes will incur an administration fee of £10.

No; Your Santa's Grotto and Toddler Santa Experience ticket includes full admission to Hobbledown Heath. You are welcome to arrive any time after opening to explore the park; however, please be at the Grotto area promptly for the time you selected during the booking process.

Our Hobnosh bar is open throughout the day, and offers a variety of tasty meals and snacks.

Yes! You’re welcome to take your own photos. And there are themed photo points scattered around Santa’s Secret Village, where you can take special festive snaps.

This Christmas experience makes full use of the Hobbledown Heath areas, including narrow passageways, slopes, and varied terrain. It also features flashing lights and special effects during the experience. Hobbledown Heath's paths are woodchip and gravel, and may not be suitable for wheelchairs or small-wheeled buggies. Due to the nature of the event, weather conditions and the use of temporary surfaces may impact the ability for some wheelchair users to access all areas.

We encourage all children to take part in our Christmas experience. Please be aware that it makes use of special effects, music and lights. Do call us before booking to ask any questions about additional requirements.

Yes, we strongly recommend pre-booking your visit to avoid disappointment, especially during peak times. Walk-in slots are limited and subject to availability.

Yes - you can change your ticket to a new date for our rebooking fee of £10.00 per booking.

Our Santa's Grotto is open on selected dates and times during November and December 2025. Opening and Closing times needed for each date for the calendar

We will do our best to accommodate latecomers, but please speak to our team on arrival to discuss options on the day if you're running late.

Yes. The experience features flashing lights and special effects throughout. 

Yes, the route is suitable for pushchairs — please bear the uneven surfaces in mind. 

Any time from 10am. Your Grotto timeslot is fixed, so please be at the Grotto area promptly for the time you selected when booking. 

Yes. Full day admission is included, so you are welcome to stay and play for the rest of the day. 

Yes. All attending adults must hold their own ticket for this event. 

Additional adult tickets can be added to your booking as an add-on at the checkout. If you are adding adults after booking, please buy a general admission ticket for each additional adult alongside your Toddler ticket.

A ticket is required for any participating child of any age, including under-1's, if you would like them to receive a gift from Santa. If your child is under 1, is not taking part in the experience, and does not want a gift, please select the free Under 1 Non-participating ticket. 

Yes, as long as your original visit date has not yet passed. To change your date, create an account on our website using the email address you bought the original ticket with, log in, and make the change there. A rebooking fee of £10 per booking applies. 

Yes. Every child meets Santa in his grotto, receives a gift from Santa.
