I recently did the capybara feeding experience at Hobbledown Epsom and it was absolutely fantastic; even in the cold and rain! Alex made the whole experience unforgettable. Participants enter the capybara enclosure with our trained animal team, offer approved treats, learn about their behaviour and habitat, and enjoy close-up interaction in a safe, structured session.

The experience is suitable for ages 6 years and above. Participants must be able to follow keeper instructions to ensure safety and animal welfare.

Hobbledown day entry is included
Anyone entering Hobbledown must have a ticket. If you are accompanying someone doing an animal experience but are not participating, you must still hold your own general admission ticket
Participants will be provided Nitrile gloves and will be required to wash their hands following the experience
Whilst every effort is made to accommodate everyone, due to the nature of the experience unfortunately at the present time the experience is not suitable for pregnant guests, mothers who are nursing, or guests with immunosuppressant illnesses. This experience may not be suitable for disabilities which impact on motor skills, mobility, or severe learning difficulties. Please contact us to discuss your individual needs.
