Please bring along your own wax candles, please note that sparklers/fountain candles are not permitted at Hobbledown Epsom as they can set off the fire alarm system.
Hobbledown parties do not include party bags, however we do offer a range of party extras that can be added to your party package. Including Hobbledown Heath themed party gifts for £3.50 each these includes a Hobbledown branded 100% cotton canvas bag along with a Hobbledown water bottle that is made from 100% recycled plastic and are BPA free.
Helping customers celebrate their special occasion safely is something we are passionate about at Hobbledown. This means protecting people who may have allergies or intolerances.
The introduction of Natasha’s Law (The UK Food Information Amendment) came into force on 01/10/21. This means any birthday cakes, cupcakes or party celebration cakes brought into our venues by the party organiser must be either shop bought or baked by a reputable baker/cake maker. By law these suppliers will have to supply the allergens information.
Unfortunately homemade cakes will no longer be allowed to be brought into birthday parties.
It is your responsibility as organiser of the party to ascertain any allergies that your guests may have and take appropriate action.
Information required on your cake are below:
- Name of supplier (if not shop bought)
- Full ingredients list, with allergenic ingredients emphasised (for example in bold, italics or a different colour).
We have lots of outdoor seating and picnics are encouraged for outdoor consumption only. Bins are situated around the park for ease. Only food purchased at our restaurant can be consumed in our indoor areas. Play barn areas and indoor party rooms are dedicated to Hobbledown food only and guests eating their picnics inside will be asked to move to the outdoor areas.
When picking up your child, please head to our reception area and inform a staff member that you're picking up your child from a party. They will then guide you to the correct location.
Your party lasts for 2 hours. After your party has finished, you and your guests are welcome to stay and enjoy all of Hobbledown (providing the park is still open), including our Imaginarium, indoor and outdoor play areas, our water and bouncing pillows, and any activities or show taking place that day. Please take a look at our 'What's On Board' or ask a member of staff for further details about our activities.
All visitors to Hobbledown are subject to our rules of play, which can be found here. Please read them prior to attending. For emphasis, the party booker is responsible for the supervision of all the children within your group at all times whilst at Hobbledown.
You are welcome to bring extra siblings or adults, but they will require their own admission ticket which must be purchased in advance of the Party date. They will not be included in the party activity or feast but you will be able to enjoy Hobbledown whilst staying close to siblings at the same time.
Please head to reception when you arrive at Hobbledown and inform a member of staff that you’re here for a party. They will direct you to the meet and greet area, where a Party Hobbler will meet your group.
If you are having a birthday party, we aim to accommodate guest allergies. When sending your guest, the digital invitations it will allow them to RSVP and declare any dietary requirement for the guest before the party day. Please complete the guest list no later than 5 days prior to the party so that our Hobnosh team can prepare your party feast. Food is not permitted to be brought into the party areas for allergy reasons. Please refrain from bringing any additional food for the party time. Picnics are welcome to be consumed in our outdoor areas after the party.
