What you need to know:

  • Pony Pals is suitable for young hobblers aged 5 - 9, as the ponies are on a head collar and lead rope, and will be controlled and accompanied at all times by a member of the animal team.
  • Please bring wellies! Participants will be taken into the pony enclosure, so footwear suited to muck and mud is required.
  • The experience lasts 15 - 20 minutes
  • General admission included to Hobbledown Heath
  • A £2.00 booking fee will be added to your transaction
  • Meet the keepers! Q&A with the pony caretakers will be available throughout the session, along with plenty of educational facts
  • Participants will be provided with a suitably sized helmet. Please note that participants will not be able to ride the pony. 
  • Parents or Guardians will be allowed to stand directly outside of the enclosure to observe and take as many photos or videos as they like

  • Disclaimers must be read and signed prior to the experience.
  • Max 2 guests per time slot for Pony Pals
  • Anyone entering Hobbledown must have a ticket. If you are accompanying someone doing an animal experience but are not participating, you must still hold your own general admission ticket
  • Participants will be provided Nitrile gloves and will be required to wash their hands following the experience
  • Whilst every effort is made to accommodate everyone, due to the nature of the experience unfortunately at the present time the experience is not suitable for pregnant guests, mothers who are nursing, or guests with immunosuppressant illnesses. This experience may not be suitable for disabilities which impact on motor skills, mobility, or severe learning difficulties.  Please contact us to discuss your individual needs.
  • This experience may not be private to your booking; if spaces are available, other participants may join.
  • Free carers do not participate in the experience. Anyone wanting to participate in the experience will need their own experience ticket.
