Chainsaw Mick will be joining us at Easter 2013 to create a sculpture of Fern our Fairy.
On Monday April 1st and Tuesday April 2nd Mick Burns, who has 28 years chainsaw experience, will be crafting a bespoke woodcarving in honour of our delightful character.
Mick originally trained with The Forestry Commission and later became a university instructor in Lincolnshire which gave him access to a plentiful supply of timber of large dimensions and a variety of chainsaws, helping to develop his carving skills.
Over the years the woodcarver has made hundreds of sculptures including a giant spider, perching owl, lizard, otter, frog, witch, salmon and whole carved trees.
Mick’s appearances times are to be confirmed.
