Join us from July 20th to September 3rd for a Summer of Colour and Magic at Hobbledown a festival of fabulous fun!
Unleash your imagination in this enchanting summer extravaganza, where kids are encouraged to go out into the great outdoors, get messy, and get creative.
Don't miss our colorful Hobbledown Paint Parade, enchanting storytimes, and the spectacular Merrydown Mayhem, bubble fun to Skibbler Splash and Tipp's Fab Lab.
Dive into a vibrant world where dragons, fairies, and whimsical wonders await.
PAINT THROWING
Join the dragon parade and follow the magic to experience the ultimate color explosion! As you reach the destination, you'll receive some of the hobblers vibrant paint, ready for you to unleash in the most epic paint throw of the summer.
SKIBBLER SPLASH
Did somebody say Water Wars? Join the Hobbler's for the Skibbler battle. One not to be missed!
Watch out! You might get soaked!
HOBBLER STORY TIME
Head to the Thinkery to hear an extraordinary story unfold! Join the hobblers in a fun filled, upbeat story as you follow the Hobbledown Family's adventure into the unknown... Will disaster strike or teamwork prevail?
TIPP'S FAB LAB
Step into Tipp's Fab Lab at the Merrydown Festival to explore inventions and the enchanting power of Hobbledown Crystallite and Magic. Experience swirling smoke, mesmerizing bubbles, and captivating displays of magic.
RUMPLETUMP'S JELLY CHALLENGE
Can the hobblers outdo Rumpletumps's older brother's record for devouring jelly in a minute? Gather round and witness as hobblers gather to see if anyone can surpass the record for devouring jelly in a minute.
DRAGON PARADE
Get excited for the arrival of the Dragon's at Hobbledown. Grab flags and streamers, chant and march, enjoy animal antics, and pop giant bubbles in celebration, end the parade with burst of colour with paint throwing!
MERRYDOWN MAYHEM
Dive into the thrill of messy games, where the fun gets wild with tug of war, "Hobbler Says," and a slew of activities featuring slime, foam, and bubbles. It's a joyous plunge into the chaos of playful mayhem.
Prefer to keep things clean? Head over to the Garden Games, where a delightful array of games awaits. Engage with the hobblers in a series of charming and competitive pursuits without the mess.
ANIMAL TALKS
Join the Zookeepers for some animal feeding times & informational talks.
BIRDS OF PREY
Daily at 11:30am and 2:30pm, watch a range of owls, hawks and falcons take to the skies at the Willows Birds of Prey Centre.

Build a Bear
Make your very own fuzzy friend!
This Summer you can build a bunny, bear or another fun friend at Hobbledown! Enter the Teddy Bear workshop, then stuff, fluff and create your new best pal. You even get your very own birth certificate to take home.
How to Book
- Purchase a general ticket admission here for everyone visiting.
- Select an entry date between 20th July - 3rd September, when our Hullaballoo event is happening.
- 20 minute activity
- Time slots: 11 / 11:20 / 11:40 & 3 / 3:20 / 3:40
- Choose an arrival time and you will then be shown our add-on options for day guests, which include our Build a bear, Animal experiences and much more! Add to basket, and you're ready to go.
